As creatures of habit, life’s constant changes has made us feel perpetually uprooted. It could be the lockdown, but it also could be the ever elusive stability we have been so desperately seeking in Lebanon.
I write what it feels like to have life slap me on the face, and have me question womanhood’s greatest purpose. I deliberate over what it means to find purpose outside of childbearing.
In that season of my life, I was playing with the question of self-esteem. I ponder on whether I have done enough to love myself and become the full version of whom I am meant to be.
